Wisdom Of The...First Graders
This is an email making the rounds, but just in case you haven't seen it, I thought I would post it here..it's just too good, not to share!
A first grade school teacher had twenty-six students in her class. She presented each child in her classroom the 1st half of a well-known proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of the proverb.
It's hard to believe these were actually done by first graders. Their insight may surprise you. While reading, keep in mind that these are first-graders, 6-year-olds, because the last one is a classic!

But they're all good!
Jan, these are priceless treasures. And I have no trouble seeing six year old Hurricane Hailey right in the middle. Thanks for a great start to my day. DM
Hi Jan,
these were great, all of them, but you were right the last one is a dandy!!
thank you for coming by Roxi and My blogs, we really appreciate your knid words of encouragement and understanding.
Hope you have a great day,
Bill
Donald..I kinda like the one about not changing horses while they're still running!
That is one smart kid! :)
DM..I had to laugh about what you said about Hailey!
I'm glad you enjoyed reading them..some of them were pretty clever, don't you think?
Bill..believe me, it is my pleasure to come by yours and Roxie's blogs. I always enjoy reading them.
I think the answers by the kids were pretty cute..but some of them are just way too mature for their tender little ages. :)
Amen, Jan. I needed to laugh thank you so much. I am glad that you posted those. I am still sitting here chuckling. My fave was the "bird in the hand" one. Kids are so funny and wise. I wish that we could get away with saying clever things like that. Us, as adults, put way too much thought into things and worry about what people might think. Thank you so much for the kind words and have a great night. Roxi
Hehe, whoever said "Out of the mouths of babes" knew what they were talking about..
Some classics in there.
Morris..that's for sure! :)
