She is a 19 year old student in Israel.
Please go read her blog, if you want to gain some insight as to what is really going on over there.
Oh..and give her a little support, okay?
Thanks!
When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. ~Theodore Dalrymple

Jan, these children growing up with war are so sad. It's almost impossible for us to relate to.
There's a young Iraqi blogger Sunshine, (Days of my Life) on my sidebar. I've been reading her blog for a couple of years now and I just want to get her and her family our. Despite the improvement for much of the country it just gets worse for them.
She..I know, and it is all so sad.
We take so much for granted here, and don't really appreciate all that we have, I know.
I will check out Sunshine's blog, too.
When I first started reading Sunshine, she was very supportive of the anti-terrorist American invasion, and of American soldiers. They have become bitter and angry and worn down by war and loss and who can blame them...she used to be so hopeful..
I was glad to visit her blog and leave a message of support. I pray all is well for you! G-d bless, Jan!
Hello Jan,
Thank you. I'll go over and read her blog today.
Have a great day,
Lydia
