To Everything There Is A Season

To Everything There Is a Season

To everything there is a season,a time for every purpose under the sun.
A time to be born and a time to die;
a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
a time to kill and a time to heal ...a time to weep and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn and a time to dance ...a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to lose and a time to seek;
a time to rend and a time to sew;
a time to keep silent and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate;
a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
Daniel 2:21-22 KJV

This is such an appropriate quotation for this time, Jan. Now we must pray for our Country..

We are rid of the President, but now we are saddled with the Emperor.

Papa Frank..thanks for your kind words.

I think we all will need more wisdom to get through the next few years.

Hermit..I don't like to think of it as getting 'rid' of President Bush--I think he did the best he could, under the circumstances--but you're right about getting an Emperor, maybe.
