Full Moon

Here are some typical Native American names for the full moon throughout the calendar year:
January: Old Moon, Wolf Moon
February: Snow Moon
March: Sap Moon, Worm Moon, Crow Moon, Crust Moon
April: Grass Moon, Pink Moon, Moon of the Red Grass Appearing
May: Milk Moon, Flower Moon
June: Rose Moon, Strawberry Moon
July: Thunder Moon, Buck Moon
August: Green Corn Moon, Corn Moon, Sturgeon Moon
September: Fruit Moon, Harvest Moon
October: Harvest Moon, Hunter’s Moon
November: Frost Moon, Beaver Moon
December: Long Night Moon, Cold Moon

The growing and dying of the moon reminds us of our ignorance, which comes and goes. But when the moon is full it is as if the Great Spirit were upon the whole world.
- Black Elk, Oglala Sioux

I've heard of "harvest moon" and "bomber moon" but these are new to me.

Hermit..I think "harvest moon" is the one of which we are most familiar, but the others are interesting.

A Prayer To The Harvest Moon

Smoke drifts like haze across the Harvest Moon

Above the golden stubble of brown turned earth

We dance amongst an autumn tune

The perfume of fallen apples
lending it’s worth

The field of threshed grain will be gone too soon

The sharp, gentle chill of fall will give birth

From within her Indian summer cocoon

To autumn shadow of winter’s lean dearth

Come to us, Harvest Moon

And lead us to a morning of mirth

As we give thanks for your generous boon.
