Just a note to express my thanks to all of my friends who commented, or sent emails, expressing their condolences.
I'm still quite sad about the death of my Aunt Polly, but she would be the first to say that life goes on, and that we should face each day as it comes, whatever it may bring.
She certainly did that in her own life, facing tragedy after tragedy, but she did it with such grace.
She never gave up hope, even in the face of her final one, saying only a few days before her death: "Maybe this won't kill me." And she laughed.
That was my Aunt Polly.
I am writing this with a smile, remembering that..and that's just the way she would want it, I know.

Hello Jan,
Your Aunt Polly sounded like a strong and amazing woman.
We'll always feel a saddness in our hearts for our loved ones who have gone to the otherside, but I know they are always with us, looking out for us and continue to be a part of our lives even while they are in spirit.
Have a nice afternoon,
Lydia
Okay. I'll try to remember this one the most.
