Go Forward With Courage
Go Forward With Courage
When you are in doubt, be still, and wait;
when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage.
So long as mists envelop you, be still;
be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists– as it surely will.
Then act with courage.

I like this one, it just might go in my box of inspirational snippets. Funny you should post this now; I've been struggling with "being still" and trying to find within my place of "stillness." I think my life lesson right now is patience - something I have always NOT had much of. Nice one, Jan.
Hello Jan,
How inspirational. I love this. It's a very true statement too.
I like the photo of the trees in the mist.
Wishing you a great Tuesday!
rockync..I'm glad you got something from this..I really like it, too.
I hear you, about patience. I think that is something that we all struggle with from time to time.
BTW..are you one of those who pray like this? "Lord, help me to be more patient, and HELP ME RIGHT NOW! LOL..I may have been guilty of that..a time, or two!
Of course, sometimes, that is not the best thing to pray for..unless you are prepared. :)
Lydia..thank you, I'm glad that you love it, too!
There is much wisdom in that, isn't there?
I hope your day is great, too! :)
LOL,Jan! Yep, that sounds like me. "Being still" is such a foreign concept for me; my mind and body are always in motion. But I am beginning to understand that if I don't learn to "be still" I miss the answers God is trying to give me.
So now I'm working on finding a bit of time each day to sit quietly and just marvel at the miracle of being alive.
Awsome quote lady! And glad to see you posting. That pic looks like my beloved 'Smoky Mountains'... *sigh*
rockync..I can understand what you are saying, and it is very important to learn to "be still".. after all, it is said that God speaks in a still, small, voice.
dnr..thanks!
Actually, the picture is from the Yukon-Gold area of Alaska!
It does look like the Smoky Mountains, though. :)
I'm glad you dropped by..it means you are well!
