When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. ~Theodore Dalrymple

Scary! I wonder how many restaurants do the same thing?
I saw this video and thought how glad I am I don't travel that much any more. And I'm glad I didn't know all this when I had to travel! From now on, I'm packing my own sheets and buying platic glasses,YUK!
frank family..I try not to think about that! LOL
rockync..I have always felt like things were not sanitary in hotel and motel rooms, no matter how grand! How could they be? They use the same bedspreads and blankets, one guest after another! I absolutely NEVER let my bare feet touch the floor in one of those rooms, either! And when you think about the ice machines..oh, gross!
This is a true story. I used to have a cabin rental business years ago. I didn't have hot tubs in my cabins, but another guy did. I went over to talk to him about the chamber of commerce, and he was cleaning a cabin. He had a little net like you use to get dead fish out of a fish tank. I asked him what it was for, and he said it was for dipping condoms out of the hot tub. He said he didn't empty the water out of them after each guest checked out because it was too expensive. That's the truth!
Hermit..oh, that is just too much! It makes a person want to never rent a motel, hotel, cabin, or anything else, ever again!
