I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day Holiday! Maybe for some of you, it should be called, "Laboring On The Holiday, " like my sweet guy who's having to work.
For others, it could be the REAL deal, like being IN labor, in great anticipation of the arrival of the newest member of the family. Now, that's the kind of work where you really see the "fruit of your labor," as the old saying goes.
Maybe, for some of you, there is no rest for the weary...and you're catching up on the "honeydew list" -- you ladies all know the kind of list I'm talkin' about--"Honey, do this," and "Honey, do that!"
Whatever you're doing ...working, resting, enjoying family get-togethers--be good to yourself, and to others. Be thankful, and be at peace, as much as you are able to do so.
"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."
Sir William Churchill (1874-1965 )

Hi Jan,
unfortunately I cannot say anything about Labor Day because we do not have it in Germany.
For me it was just a regular working day at the computer, writing away at the new novel.
Your emails cheered me up. Thank you!
Olivia..it is just another working day here for some, too.
I'm glad to cheer you up...that's something we all need at times.
